We recommend traveling with Color Line from Kiel to Oslo. We're happy to assist with booking the ferry. Onboard, don’t miss the restaurant offering a delicious 3- or 5-course menu. A classic treat is the shrimp sandwich (“Reker-brød”) in the Observation Bar on deck 15 – only accessible via the forward starboard elevator.
For the drive through Norway, we recommend taking the E6 and then Route 3 via Elverum towards Trondheim. For nature lovers and those with a little extra time, a detour from Route 3 via roads 27 and 29 back to the E6 offers a breathtaking landscape. With some luck, you might even spot musk oxen at the highest point of the route.
Throughout your drive: always stay alert for wildlife – especially reindeer and moose!

Fueling the boat and information on nearby marine fuel stations will be explained in detail upon booking – or taken care of by your guide.
The nearest town, Bjugn, is just a 15-minute drive from the lodge and offers supermarkets open until 11:00 PM from Monday to Saturday. You’ll also find hardware stores and public services there.
Brekstad, about 20 minutes away, has even more shopping options, including a mall. It's also home to the ferry terminal for the connection from Orkanger.
